Energy Use
We aim to minimise energy usage in all our projects. For instance, in one of our recent projects, materials were utilised extensively, thus helping to cut down on energy consumption that would have been useful in extracting and processing new materials. We also observe the growth of our fleet’s energy efficiency, such as vehicles that employ renewable energy to power equipment on the territory.
Water Use
Water usage management is one of the strategic priorities we set in environmental activities. It’s important to note that we use as much recycled water as possible in the construction activities. This approach not only saves fresh water but also minimises the depletion of water resources in the locations where our projects are conducted so that our projects are as environmentally friendly as possible.
Waste Management
We minimise waste by always finding suitable options related to recycling and finding transfer stations that utilise excavated materials to benefit the company such as recycling topsoil, crushed concrete rock, recycled asphalt and profiling ,bricks get recycled to 4 inch rocks which are used to build temporary roads required in building sites. MCW encourages to approach every opportunity that arises in recycling building materials to support the community and eliminate pollution where possible.
Transport
To minimise the carbon footprint, the company obtains materials as many as possible within the area of the country. This not only promotes local companies but also cuts down the emissions that are a result of transportation. Our employees and contractors are given the best and most efficient routing plans to decrease transport distance, thereby achieving another aspect of environmental savings.
